Honourable all the teachers,

Dear friends and all the students of our pride school. Thank you for the opportunity to speak with you and thank you for coming today. It’s an honor to speak with you today about a generation that is transforming our society. Yes.. it’s about Z generation and their roles in the digital era. The digital era we live in today has fundamentally reshaped how we communicate, work, learn, and even think. At the heart of this digital revolution is Gen Z, a generation that not only grew up with technology but has also helped propel it to new heights.

Ladies and gentlement,

Gen Z, born between 1997 and 2012, is often called the "digital native" generation. Unlike previous generations, who had to adapt to the rapid advancement of technology, Gen Z has known it from the moment they were born. Social media, smartphones, and instant connectivity have shaped the way they see the world. We can say the internet isn’t just a tool; it’s a way of life. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have become the new cultural stages. Through these platforms, Gen Z doesn’t just consume content—they create it, influence it, and redefine it.

Then, what are the roles of Gen Z? What can they do? Let me explain one by one.

First, Gen Z redefines to interact with each other. They’ve made digital conversations shorter, more visual, and more expressive. Emojis, memes, gifs, and short videos have become as powerful as words.

Second, Gen Z plays significant role in the digital era, as a force for social change. They are using digital platforms to raise awareness, organize movements, and demand action.

Third, Gen Z is accustomed to learning independently through online resources like YouTube tutorials, online courses, and educational apps. They are not limited to traditional forms of education but are keen on acquiring skills and knowledge from a variety of sources. in this case, teachers only can be facilitators.

Ladies and gentlemen, I know there are a lot of opportunities that can be taken by Gen Z. It is clear that Gen Z will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape. Their digital literacy, and creativity will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and create a more inclusive and equitable digital world.

At the last of my speech today, it can be concluded that Gen Z is not just a generation; they are a force to be reckoned with. Their unique relationship with technology has empowered them to become agents of change, reshaping the way we live, work, and interact. let us recognize the immense potential of Gen Z and empower them to shape a brighter future for all.
